Plymouth to Boston

Sunday 17th October

This morning we boarded the bus to find name tags had been attached to the windows.  The hunt was on to find our seats, and from now on they will be rotated.  We stopped for a visit of the Mayflower II to get an idea of what it would have been like to sail from England to Plymouth on a tall ship, with 102 passengers, livestock and crew.  Only 55 of the passengers survived the trip to settle and build the town of Plymouth.  It is interesting and I hope you will go to the link and read about it.  I can tell you, I wouldn't have wanted to be confined in that small space with all those people and animals.
