Another early morning wake up and off to the zoo today.
We were dropped off at the zoo at 9.30 and pick up time was at 4pm.
On first arriving at the zoo I decided it might be a good idea to take the
guided bus tour first, get a feel for the place. Oh boy, it's going
to be fun walking around here. It's on 3 levels and some of the roads are pretty
damn steep.
I didn't take any photo's of the animals from the bus as it was constantly
on the move and I figured it would be more useful to take photo's on my trek
around, at least I can stop and take a clear shot, well, most of the time
at least. Some of them are still a little blurry but I think trying
to zoom through the wiring didn't help.
In the Hummingbird sanctuary you will have to look very carefully to find
the birds as they are so tiny. I did zoom in on some for you.
I also took a trip on the cable car, so there are some aerial shots
to give you an idea as to how the zoo is set out. I'm sure at least
one of you will be interested anyway, hey John.
There's not really much I can tell you about the zoo except it's big, and
many of the animals were either sleeping or their pens were being serviced
so they had been moved elsewhere.
It was a nice day, a bit chilly but at least it was dry.
I hope you enjoy your pictorial trip around the zoo with me.
Warning: There are 17 pages with a total of 333 photo's, could take a while to get through them.
